Steffen Wurm

Steffen Wurm was Head of Global Banking Germany & Austria at HSBC Germany, Frankfurt and Member of the HSBC Germany Executive Committee. Prior to taking on the role in 2022, he had previously been Head of Banking Corporates Germany and Austria between 2020 and 2022 and Head of Investment Banking Coverage Germany & Austria between 2017 and 2020. He joined HSBC in 2014 from Credit Suisse where in his last position as Head of Public Sector Germany and Lead Banker for the Energy, Transport/ Logistics & Chemicals clients he was responsible for the DACH region. He started his career in 2000 at Commerzbank in Frankfurt and New York where he held several positions in Capital Markets Advisory until 2007. Steffen holds an MBA from the University of Durham Business School in Durham, UK.








