Philipp Lingnau

Philipp Lingnau is Managing Director and a board member of Morgan Stanley Europe SE (MSESE) since March 2019. Prior to this he was a board member of Morgan Stanley Bank AG since April 2010. He heads the Fixed Income Sales & Trading business for MSESE. Previously, Philipp Lingnau headed the European Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in the Global Capital Markets (GCM) Division. Prior to this, Philipp co-headed the European Corporate Debt & Derivatives Group. Philipp joined Morgan Stanley in August 2000 in London. Before joining Morgan Stanley he was a derivatives structurer at J.P. Morgan. Philipp has worked on a number of high-profile transactions for the financial, corporate and public sector clients including capital, financing and derivatives solutions. Philipp studied at University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and graduated with a Master’s degree (lic.oec) in Business Economics. He is married and has four children.








